How to Configure Windows DreamScene for All Windows Vista
For Windows users, changing wallpaper on their desktop is become normal. Lots of the users will change the background static wallpaper to the picture or photo they want, some of them will also set their screensaver with the photos or picture. If users using Windows Vista, they not only can set the static wallpaper on their desktop, users can configure and set their desktop with the animated backgrounds. This is the new features so called Windows DreamScene that offer by Microsoft Windows Vista
Windows DreamScene is the new features that offer by Microsoft and only available on Windows Vista Ultimate Edition. Window DreamScene is the features that can be set and configure as the backgrounds of the desktop, and it will display on the desktop while users using the computer as below.
Even this feature is not available on other version of windows vista, but for users who want to configure Windows DreamScene on their Windows Vista that are not running ultimate edition, below is the step.
- Get the VLC Player install in the computer.
- After finish install, open VLC player and go to Settings > Preferences > Video > Output Modules > Direct X.
- In order to see Direct X settings available, you will have to check the advanced options box in the bottom right corner.
- Enable the wallpaper mode and save.
- Navigate to Settings > Preferences > Interface > Main Interfaces > wxWidgets.
- Uncheck the taskbar.
- Enjoy.
