The Easier Way of Copy All Data between Hard Disk or Computer
Sometime users will facing problem when want to copy all data from their old hard disk to a new hard disk or from computer to another computer, this is because they have to select all data to copy over and monitor the copying status. When anything get wrong, users may need to recopy all again. Beside that, for those who having the shared folder, they need to reassign the share and security permission again. The entire step above can be done by using the Robocopy.
Robocopy is the advanced copy utility which has been around at least since the Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 resource kit, With Robocopy users now can perform to copy their all data between hard disk or computers as easy as in few steps. For the above case, users now can use Robocopy to copy all their data with the file and folder attribute, security will be copy over to the target hard disk or computer. So users just have to configure Robocopy what to copy and where is the destination.
Beside that, users also can resume file transfer on error, network disruption or recover from terminated file copying. Robocopy is a command-line folder replication tool and available as part of the Windows Resource Kit and now is standard features of Windows Vista.
