Check out IDrive-E and grab 2GB of backup space for free!
Not only that. You will also get unlimited storage space for just $4.95/month or you can opt for the yearly plan that costs you just $49.50. You will also get two months of backups free!
IDrive-E imposes no restrictions on the file type you backup and restore. You can do totally hands-free, automated, remote backups of your files and folders with IDrive-E. Even though, on installation the application will select ‘My Documents’ for default backup, you can easily customize it to suit your needs. The scheduled backup commences when your computer is idle, but you can alter this by scheduling the backups for a future date and time.
IDrive-E presents two interfaces for the users to work with. The IDrive-E Classic interface is an absolutely user-friendly interface similar to the Windows explorer using which you can easily browse for files and folders. It has the common two-pane view where you can use it for regular backup/restore operations. You can select data for backups and restorers, view the backup set you have created, perform an immediate backup etc. You can also schedule backups for a future data and time to suit your requirements.
The IDrive-E Explorer view is a virtual drive with a traditional Windows Explorer look and feel. The IDrive-E Explorer view is meant for restoring files and folders and is not for backups. You can browse your IDrive-E account contents, restore files and folders with a simple drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste operation, view history of files, drag-and-drop or copy files to local drive (restore file versions) and search for files and folders backed up in your IDrive-E account.
IDrive-E has enhanced security with 128-bit SSL encryption on all data transfers and 256-bit AES encryption on storage with a user defined password. So all you to do is to just download and install it on your computer and start using it for secure remote backups of your files and folders over the Internet.
