Gliffy is a free web application where develop by flash and allows users to create and share diagrams online. Having the similar concept as Microsoft Visio, but Gliffy is the greatest web application when compares with other web applications that offer the same services as Gliffy. After create the diagrams, users having an option to share it with two ways that offer by Gliffy as below.
- Collaborate - enables others to see and edit your work by simply entering their email address
- Publish to internet - creates a read-only image of your diagram that you can easily embed in a wiki, blog, or other type of web software.
Since Gliffy is a web application, users can easily create the diagrams and share it anywhere over the internet. Beside that, users can direct export the diagrams as SVG, JPEG and PNG file format and store in user’s computers.
Currently users just can create six types of diagrams that offer by Gliffy as below
- Flow Chart
- UML
- Network
- USer Interface
- Floor Plan
- Basic Shapes

I’ve been using Gliffy for a while and really like it. There’s a competitor out there called Cumulate Draw. It doesn’t have the features as Gliffy but doesn’t need Flash. I’ve just written a review at my blog. My blog is to uninstall ALL applications from my desktop and replace it with online tools. Check the review out at:
