Live Documents
Live Documents is web-enabling Microsoft office. With live documents we can simple share and set permission on particular documents for users who can read, edit and print from within Microsoft Office anywhere, anytime over the internet. These services currently work with word and excel documents only.
The creator of the documents can set the permission on which users can read, edit or print the documents. After permission has been set, the author can email the documents to relevant users. Then users must login to Live Documents with their email addresses and can only perform the activities that associates with their permission rights. The creator can also keep tracks on when the users open, read, edit or print the documents.
Live Documents have similar concept as Microsoft Share Point Portal, but the differential is Live Documents are not storing any documents for users. On conclusion, the users now can share documents or contact, work and collaborate more effectively.
